Blanchard Grinding

Sunrise blanchard grinding is designed for large stock removal on small to medium sized parts. Our capabilities are 24x24x12. Rotary (Blanchard) surface grinding process produces a large volume  of pieces with exacting specifications. It is used for new manufacturing, as well as modification of existing parts and may be performed on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Because all parts are manufactured simultaneously, the results are uniform. with blanchard grinding, repeatability error is virtually non-existent. Tolerances are held within .0005.

Surface Grinding

Surface grinding is utilized where precision detail and finish work is required. The application of radii and angles to the finished part also requires surface grinding. Product consistency and tolerances to .0005 is standard. The grinding surface capacity is up to 12"x24" on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

O.D. Grinding

O.D. grinding is used to produce  a more precise diameter finish on a variety of metals both ferrous and non-ferrous. Mounted Between centers, each part references the same centerline and thereby maintains a more consistent ground surface. Maximum capacities are 12" diameter x 24" length.
